The Tailgate 2021… Can’t Wait to Get Started?
The Tailgate is live and in person Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 5:30pm at Crystal Gardens. If you want to bid on the items that you’ll see previewed on the website you need to attend the event. Tickets are $45 which include eats and treats and some fun tailgate games and captains banter.
However, we had the opportunity to use the online portion of The Tailgate website to have an online auction for special items that we’ve secured.
Wanna see a game in the Big House?We have the following available as an online auction beginning Monday, 9/20.
- 4 Northwestern at Michigan tickets (FV $140) October 23, 2021
- 4 Indiana at Michigan tickets (FV $140) November 6, 2021
- 4 Ohio State at Michigan tickets (FV $580) November 27, 2021
These are great gifts or use them yourselves to cheer the Wolverines on this fall.
Now, for those of you that think this is just a way to get the Michigan fans back in this Tailgate game for fundraising supremacy, remember, you can designate your purchase to either team or be neutral. So, if you have Wolverine fans in your friends and family (or even Indiana, Northwestern or, gasp, Ohio State fans), this is a great opportunity to send them to the Big House and donate your money toward your team for the Tailgate.
Here’s how it works:
If you are registered and have purchased a ticket for The Tailgate, you are automatically eligible to bid online for these items. Just go online, use your password and bid.
If you are unable to attend The Tailgate because you are out of town, up north, etc., you can still bid online for these items only. Simply go to the Tailgate website, click Login/Registration and Register Now. You’ll be prompted from there on how to Register and then you can bid!
The items will be listed for online bidding only and bids will begin on Monday, September 20 at 9 am and continue through September 30 at 5pm. Once the bidding closes on these items the winners will be charged and the electronic tickets will be arranged to be transferred to your email. (All University of Michigan tickets are electronic this year but the process for transferring the tickets and then inserting them in your Google or Apple wallet on your phone is very easy to do. They will not accept any paper/printed tickets)
