Hey, fellow euchre players. Again, thanks for your great support of our monthly euchre benefit nights. In March, we were able to raise $947 for the Brighton Area Schools Pack of Dogs. Our venue, Eternity Brewing helped with that total and some gift cards, too.

On Aprill 11th, the non-prize proceeds will go to the Carl Nagy Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and we have plenty of space, so sign up.

As a civic group, the Brighton Optimists are busy planning their next big youth event – the Free Fishing Derby for Kids, Saturday, June 17th at the Brighton Millpond. Mark your calendars and get those rods and reels ready. The event is for ages 16 and under with trophies, free bait (while it lasts), loaner rods/reels if needed and just a lot of fun.
