The Board of Commissioners met 5/23 and the following resolutions passed:
1] the 2022 Tax millage was lowered to 3.2086 from 3.2391, the second straight year this Commissioner voted to CUT your tax milage..
2] Approved the 2021 to 2022 HazMat grant residue.
3] Approved a grant application by Specialty Courts for 2023.
4] Approved 2 new uniformed Sheriff Deputies to bring our total to 32. In my opinion, a bit short still.
5] Approved the purchase of a roof top HVAC in advance of June 1st when a large price increase was to hit., thus saving tax dollars.
