GREEN OAK TWP., MI – Today, Commissioner Brenda Plank announced that she is seeking re-election to the Livingston County Board of Commissioners District 9, a seat she has held since 2021.

“This is a crucial time for our community to elect conservative representation in all levels of government. Over the past 24 months, families and businesses have felt the damage caused by Democrats who supported and adopted economic and social policies that hurt everyday Americans,” said Plank. “I will continue to be the voice of reason for our county and look for ways we move forward together as a community.”

Plank continued, “throughout my first term, I was able to keep a low tax rate for the hardworking families of Livingston County, help to pay down our county’s unfunded financial liabilities, and ensure our Sheriff Department was adequately supported. When re-elected in November, I will continue to work on expanding broadband to our remote areas, focus on reducing our legacy costs, and ensure that we keep Livingston County a safe place to live, work, and play!”
